The Gathering of the Arrowmen will be a weekend of fun and fellowship at McGimsey Scout Park themed around the Knights of the Round Table.  Saturday morning will include individual challenge events, and Saturday afternoon will be inter-Chapter competitions.  A banquet-style dinner will be held on Saturday with awards.

Planned Main Activities

v  Chapter Coat of Arms. - Each Chapter should bring a coat of arms representing the Chapter.  The coat of arms could be a picture, a flag, or a wood carving.  It needs to be free standing.  Should include representation of the OA, the Lodge, and the Chapter.  Points will be awarded on creativity, design, overall effect, etc.  The Coat of Arms is to be created by the Chapters before the Fellowship.

v  Iron Man competition to determine the OA Strongest Man.  This will include events such as the keg toss, shot put, wagon pull, pull ups, etc.  Prizes for each Chapter Iron Man, overall Lodge Iron Man, and Rusty Iron Man (adult award).

v  Robin Hood Dead-Eye Archer – an archery competition to determine the best archers.  Awards for top Chapter and Lodger archers, and adult archer.

v  Catapult competition – each Chapter is to bring a catapult that abides by the rules.  There will be awards for most accurate and furthest shot.  Safety is to be observed.  The catapults will need to be built outside of the Fellowship

v  Jousting and Fencing – a competition to determine the Chapter Champion will be held during the day.  During the evening banquet, as entertainment, the Chapter Champions will square off to compete to determine the Lodge Champion

v  Saturday night movie
